I just downloaded and installed it and I have to confess I really like it. It's like XP with all the things Vista was supposed to be. I'm running on a single core 1.8ghz and it's plenty fast, so you figure it out.

I've heard about this from a friend of a friend. Supposedly it's everything vista was supposed to be.

Correct me if Im wrong, this is a vista update, not an xp update. Ive heard of it but never looked into it.
It based on the Vista kernel, but last time I checked vista wouldn't run very well at all on my computer and this runs just fine.

Its probably Windows XP cracked with Vista Blinds. There is a program that integrates a lot of Vista's stuff into XP and lets you run it as fast as XP.
Not when I'm getting updates and don't have to reboot. Plus all the stuff is different and I can't always use XP drivers.

You can still get updates, and not have to reboot. What do you mean different, and with the Vista blinds, it integrates, so no not all XP drivers will work, its meant to act just like Vista. Its like a free Vista, it act's, looks, and screws up like Vista did, but it also acts like XP, its harder to explain that to show. Windows 7 is just XP with Vista together, you can Illegally download it from torrents or you can be a good boy and buy XP, and throw a real Legal patch to make it act n look like Vista. It took a simple program and a person with a Legal / Illegal version of XP n Vista to make this, while stealing from Microsoft. NOT TO OFFEND ANYONE, BUT ITS NOT RIGHT TO DO AND IS ILLEGAL IN COPYRIGHT MATERIAL.

so wait..... you can go to microsoft site and DL/install this?? i have vista pro.. works like a champ... but boss has XP... she might like this.........
