Looking to buy a quality case new -- my current one has lasted me about 8 years and it's time to assemble a new system from scratch. Anybody know the good cheap but reliable online retailers for builder components?

Used newegg for some time, and i have to admit it is a great site to buy electronic components from. Prices are great for certain products, just watch for sales and deals.

I've heard lots of great stuff about Newegg as well.
TigerDirect has recently bought out Comp USA, so you can go right into the stores to see some of their stuff in person. They have always been cheap and very reliable for all my needs!

Try compusa if you have one near you. Since tigerdirect bought them, they've become the exact opposite of what they were before.

I'm lovin that systemax bought compusa... means that I now can use the business account with THEM to build computers for even less and make my friends even happier.

Jang, check this thing out, we are using it in our college course... I fell in love with this design!

gotta be careful what you buy though, cases these days come with very poor quality power supplies.

Thanks all. I've dealt with NewEgg a good deal some years back and it looks like their prices are still very good, so I'll stick with them

try going here-http://www.mrrebates.com

it is one of those rebate sites (get money back when you spend it at certain places)
but for once, its a legitimate one- no credit card required, just a mailing address to send you a check for your money

they have rebates at many stores, for Apple 1% rebate, to some stores with a 15-20% rebate
Hobbytron, for instance has a 4% rebate
newegg is on that list
its only a 1% rebate, but that is still money back to you
if you shop online every once in a while, you can make some money back though the rebates
just thought i'd pass on something i found a little while ago

yea.. I would dethrone you as the leader of this forum if you didn't go newegg...

Currently running 100% newegg hardware, couldn't be happier...

Might I recommend the NZXT Tempest. It's a carbon copy of my case (Antec 900) but NZXT fixed a few gripes about it. And it's only $110 (after rebate).
