A computer is a computer man! Just be glad you dont have to borrow a friends or go to your neighbor's house!
I've got 2 I can throw up here, one is a budget build and another is for school that I have to build for my A+ certification and major.
To start with the first one... even though both the initial mobo and CPU were DOA due to box damage in shipping...
ASUS M2A-VM AMD based mobo 960G
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 black edition (also DOA)
testing OCZ ram... no luck so far
XFX GeForce 8400 GS 256mb *supports turbo cache for 512mb
Other pc is unknown at this time... i'll find out tomorrow.

Very true. I just felt alone cause everyone else either uses windows or linux
why alone? I'd be looking down and laughing at everyone else.

haha. Thanks Kemo :D
I am kinda biased toward macs. I grew up with them.
But my brother made a good point yesterday that, "a computer is only as smart as the person using it." Which would seem to be rather obvious but its true

its true... but if its a Windows based OS... it limits all your possibilities, rendering everyone de de de.
Ah, figured I'd post an update here...
ASUS M2A-VM AMD based mobo 960G
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 black edition
testing OCZ ram
XFX GeForce 8400 GS 256mb *supports turbo cache for 512mb
Finally got a mobo AND cpu that works, darn thing POSTed and booted in a hurry, pretty fast for a budget build at $260.00 Could have saved 50 bucks because it has ATI integrated graphics, but they were bugged from the get go.
Its an OK board for 50-60 bucks, does what it should now. CPU... you can NOT beat the performance you get out of it for the money. That thing also cost 60 bucks.
AMD Phenom 9850 Quad Core 2.5ghz
Nvidia 8800 GT superclocked
5 gigs matched memory
160 gig HDD
550 w PS
mainly use it for COD4 and general net stuff.
