Ubuntu Issues...

When I start up it does the "Checking installation" think and at 100% it says that I must enter a non empty password, my dad got past it with a combo of buttons, anybody know how????

What part of the boot sequence does it do this?

Ok, 1. choose ubuntu or windows
2. press esc to enter menu 5....4...3....2.....1....
3. Herron (spelling) background
4. At the bird background there's a window "Checking installation loading box
5. At 100% it opens another window saying something along the lines of "Empy password, this is not allowed, please enter a non-empty password" but there is NO text box. When you click OK or enter it just opens again.

Hmm thats very odd. Are you using Wubi to dual-boot?
