I've finally gotten rid of my old 17" crt and replaced it with a 22" lcd. Oh the more desktop space both on my actual desk and on my screen.

lucky..
I got a 16" crt (i think) that's slowly and silently dying... before I know it I'll be looking at a black screen...
Well the crt I had was "17in" which means a 16" view.
well, I have a hp mx70 so I'm not sure if that's a crt or not..

dual 19" wide screen LCD's
Biggest displays i can set up in that area of my desk at the moment.
i'll never go back to a single display..
Z-2300's?
See mine?!
haha
i've got a set of the Z-2200's too!
I had dual crt's for a long time. They were nice but never really needed that much extra space. And now with a 22" I can put stuff side by side and still have more room left over.

Man, I always wanted to get a nice big LCD. Never had the funds to do it. I went from a 17" CRT to a 13" LCD recently when I bought my laptop though, kind of going in the opposite direction. We had 19" LCD screens in the CAD lab at my school, that was really nice having that much room for working in AutoCAD and VIZ. Do you do anything specific where it's nice to have more room on the comp screen? Or more just for multi-tasking?
i just simply do alot of multi tasking, or i will be viewing multiple forums. Most of the time the left display will have cable tv on it and the right display will be my web pages and such

I went from probably a16" CRT, to a 15.4" LCD laptop display. I'd take the laptop display ANYTIME!
Hell, I'd take just the laptop display on a desktop computer over the CRT.
Dad got a 19" LCD from Gateway with his desktop. It's really nice, but I actually prefer my laptop for movie watching, as it's wider than it is tall. ALA; widescreen movies, as compared to widescreen movies all scrunched up on the desktop screen.
I used to think my dad's 19" wide screen was big, now when I try to use it, it seems so small.
