Lol I am an avid Windows user and you just owned all of us.
Well all I care is that it's ten times faster than our old Windows 2000.

It really depends on what computer you're running it on as to whether it'll be faster or not. If you're trying to upgrade on a current computer, I wouldn't do that.

Well yeah, I'm pretty sure a newer computer with Vista will be faster than something that came with 2000.
I have XP, and used to use various older versions, and I've always hated Windows. I like to refer to it as "User unfriendly" as everything it does it just what you don't want it to do. It's like a little kid in your computer, banging a stick and spilling juice on everything while your trying to write your paper that's due the next morning. Lol.
I've used it a few times just real quick and have had trouble every time haha.

Oh, I guess I interpreted that post wrong.......
Yeah, I just got my Dell laptop yesterday with Vista on it. So far I haven't had any problems with it. I think some things start up a little slower on Vista than with XP, but it's not too bad. Only time will tell.....
One reason Vista takes longer to start up is it's quite a big system.
The Windows Vista operating system by itself is huge.
