Trying out Mac... (the cheap way)

No not the illegal way (aka x86 mac), but with an older iMac g3. Hope to get this one. If not this one then an emac or something along those lines.

that thing is going to be uber slow and pretty crappy..
my school had one once and they where pretty much useless...

I'm not looking to do everything with it. Just play around with it.

But it's still not that slow. It'll boot faster than most vista machines.

Well I picked it up today and it's turned out to be faster than I thought it was going to be. I'm pretty impressed with it. Just can't do a LOT of multi-tasking or opening and closing programs while installing updates.
