Too much awesomeness for me to properly conceive the words with which to convey how I feel about that paint job.

The car itself looks great, and kudos for choosing an original style GTI. Only thing I'm not bonkers about is the spoiler, but that's rather minor to be honest.

:D Thanks! Actually the wing isn't for looks... but it's not for downforce either :lol: The extra weight and especially the aero drag it adds at its default angle causes the car's overall "performance index" to go down, which leaves room to run still better tires without breaking out of my class. Then I completely feather the wing to reduce its drag, and lighten drivetrain components to help make up for the weight difference.

I've actually been doing grueling testing and tuning for a few weeks on a fleet of cars all spec'd for max performance within this class (Class D for anyone in the game), and I've narrowed my original 11 down to just 3, namely a Scion tC, a Peugot 206, and the GTi. The GTi just got the nod as the overall best tonight, hence it got to be the test canvas for the logo as a reward :lol: Purely as a consequence of testing, she's already earned me a spot in the top 0.32% of lap times at one of my shakedown tracks, out of almost 1/2 million drivers :eek: Good GTi, gooood :cool: It has also inspired something pretty interesting in the real car world... more on that in the Full-Size forum in awhile :evil:
