This game is incredibly unique!
Imagine auto racing crossed with Tetris set to the beat of absolutely any song you have access to. It creates a racetrack based on an analysis of the audio file you want to hear while you play and the curves & valleys of the track go with the general feel of the song while the speed varies with the beat. You then slalom through grey barriers and try to collect colored ones while the sky explodes into bizzare patterns all around you.
Created by one guy, free demo for a handful of songs, then $9.95 for full version available on the Steam network - you get free access to the Half-Life Orange Box soundtrack, too. Your results get compared to others that have raced to the same song, so you soon find out just how eclectic your music collection is.
I tried some variety - Wings "Live and Let Die", System of a Down "Blank the System", Poster Children "Junior Citizen", etc.
What a blast... of course, I had to buy the full version...
