I just got the game today. Got it installed, and started to play. All of a sudden 1 min into the game it freezes and then the computer goes back to its regular screen.
I have windows XP. plenty of ram, plenty of gigs. Any suggestions on what may be the problem would be alot of help.

Do you have all the graphics card drivers up to date? How old is your DVD-rom? If nothing's wrong with you computer, the culprit could be the piece of Electronics Art nonsense you're inserting into your DVD-rom (aka faulty game).
Outside of these, I'm not really sure of anything else.

I'm not sure about all the graphics updates. How do I find out? I'm using a external sony DVD-R to play it on, It has plenty of speed. I'm going to try to find out about the updates.

Go to your desktop, right click and click on "properties". From there, click on "settings". Next, click "advanced". Click on "adapter" and under "adapter type", click "properties". Click on the "driver" tab and click on the "update driver" button. If you need to update it should notify you, otherwise it'll say that your driver is up to date.
Do you have Direct X 9 or 10 installed? If Direct X isn't up to date, that could also be the reason (not too sure though).

Ok I checked the driver like you said. Its good. So I'm downloading the Direct x right now. I got my fingers crossed. Thanks for all your help.
