GT5 Prologue?

Anybody else get theirs today? I just tried out a few races and man, the graphics are pretty ridiculous on 1080 HD. Still has some quirks and I don't like the revolving dramatic angle preview in the dealership. I also miss rumble! I'll have to try my PS2 wireless controller, then decide whether to get the new DualShock that has vibration.

Can't really comment on the driving feel just yet. I've been playing Forza 2 with tuned cars for awhile now and GT5 feels somewhat loose and disconnected so far, but I've only tried one car as yet, the Integra. I'll have to see what cars with lower-profile tires feel like. The 'Tegra, though they give you R3 tires, felt like it was on 60 series rubber :devious:

Any other first impressions?

i cant make up my mind if i should get it or not.

i heard it gets boring quickly

i loved all the other ones and have been playing gt3 for the last few weeks.

Jang, can you comment on the differences of how the cars feel between Forza and GT5. I know and acknowledge that GT5 has outstanding graphics etc, but I really fell in love with Forza because the cars just felt more realistic then the GT series.

How does GT5 compare in that department to Forza 2?

Honestly, I haven't played GT5 yet again! I will, but I just haven't been able to pull myself away from the Forza side enough yet. I'll let ya know when I do!

i think that using the optional wheel that GT5 feels more realistic, but i love forza a lot more, something about being able to do a 400hp motor swap into my VW GTI is a little more appealing, lol

ya, forza has some pretty crazy swaps....

like a 900hp solstice or a 1000hp fairlady
