well i am thinking about ocing my amd athlon x4200+
its dual core proccessor running at 2.2 gigs
what would be a safe speed to clock it at.

get speed fan and cpuz or an amd program like it, to see how hot your running everytime you go up a notch, got about .1 every time

speedfan is what I would recommend. After that, raise the bus speed by .1, and then use something like CPU mark or cpu burn in, i think its called, to stress your processor. Once it starts to freeze during the test, or during startup repeatedly, raise the cpu core voltage by the smallest increment.
