Girlfriend has the windows vista on her computer..
anddd shes been bugging me to figure out how to burn music off of her computer.
well windows media player 11... just does not pick up all of her music files.
i've messed with what folders that are searched and such. and out of a thousand and so songs..only about 5 of them are found and uploaded into the WMP.
im very familiar with WMP 10. and love it.
but obviously it doesnt work on vista.. so i need some help on finding a program that will allow us to burn music.
thanks a whole bunch guys

Winamp or Mozilla Songbird. Songbird is getting better as it's still in beta or was it pre-beta?

You go to file - add media to library. I wouldn't think that would keep you from not using something.
and it finds maybe 4 to 5 song files. doesnt matter what documents or folders i add for it to search through
Isn't that what Win Media Player did as well? Probably something wrong with the files.
i dont think there was anything wrong with my files. because i would down grade to wmp 10 and i could upload all of my music files with no problem at all
seth- he's right its not a problem with the files....
I have vita on 3 of my pc's i have had the same problem! but then again other times it will burn fine. I only use Windows Media Player. Im not going to hassle with a different program, because i dont do burning often.
other than that glitch i like vista.
the
wmp11 problem occurs on both the version of XP i have and on my g/f's computer with vista
so its not just vista thats causing me problems with Windows media player 11 and searching for files
hmm i only have the regular version of media player on both pc's the desktop with XP burns fine, my HP With Vista does not, it burns like halve or very few most of the time...
