Just wondering what setups everyone is running for their PS3s and 360's?

Im currently running my 360 on a Sony Trinitron (not sure how big screen is, relatively big) through an onkyo surround sound system.

However, as the that t.v (and the other newer, but still old Trinitron) are practically prehistoric in technology terms, we finally upgraded, YEWW!!


Dad just bought a brand new 8th gen Pioneer Kuro 50in for the front of the house, and I picked up a 32in Samsumg LAR81BDX for my bedroom (will be for chrissy though).

So the xbox will finally get some hi-def goodness (albeit not 1080p, but screen isn't that big enough to really notice anyway)


So what does everyone else's setup go like?

1st generation PS2 with games/controller being lost years ago, along with a 35" fat screen TV thats older than me. Right now we use the PS2 as a DVD player.

My t.v arrived the other day, we got it out n checked it all out. Soooo slick, I love it. Now i've just got to put it away for x-mas (my birthday is early december, so I wen't halves with them for both x-mas and b-day...) so that I have something to wake up to!

My dads t.v is coming tomorrow hopefully.

Congrats on the T.V.! I have my PS3 hooked to a 47" Samsung HDTV 1080p VIA HDMI. I plan on upgrading the T.V. shortly after the new year, new things coming on the horizon ;).

Why would you need to upgrade it? Sounds like a great t.v


Im going to get a new xbox early next year when the premiums come with the HDMI port

I've got a PS2 Platinum, hooked up to a 30in Sony flatscreen with surround.

I've got a random off brand 19' widescreen LCD HD TV hooked to my 360. And 2 guitar amps and 1 bass amp connected to that, since the trade off for the off brand TV was crappy speakers (display is brilliant though). Not running HDMI yet, since I only just realized my 360 is one of the newer ones with the port on it, but after December (when I might actually get to keep some of my paycheck), I'll be picking up that cord.

Soon to own:

Rock Band (nearly payed off [which is why I don't own many games right now, traded all of em in on GHIII and Rock Band], and I got in before they sold all the guaranteed reserve slots).


I'll post some pics of my setup once I cleanup the basement and rearrange the room (the whole setup is very quickly thrown together right now).
