We used to use a very similar one to that at school, and they were very impressive computers. To my knowledge, it looks like you got a real good deal aswell.

You should really enjoy it.

since i assume you're on a budget, having gone with g4, power PC is suitable.

Ya, the macs with the c2d's are very expensive.

I'm very confident that the PPC's will be just fine. I can easliy push the 1.25's to 1.5 and if I like the system a lot, I have several big mods planned with time. Hopefully it will be here within a week!

I have a Dell laptop sitting on the dresser folding. Why would I want to? Anyways, go it, runs great. Fast and smooth! Pulled the 320GB SATA, 80GB IDE, and a SCSI card out, and dropped in a 500 GB SATA and did a fresh install of OS X Tiger. So far I do like it a lot. Still finding stuff that can be tweaked better to my liking, but it is all really simple options that you can just change.
