Hey i was wondering if anyone had any experience with VGA boxes and if they are good. I wanna play my gamecube on my little crt monitor, so suggestions on which box is good would be nice. thanks.

Lol, his gamecube doesn't have the capability to transmit on DVI.
theres a good chance you'll encounter some visible interlacing.
computer monitors can't fill all of the fields that were intended for TV.
aspect ratio may get messed up as well. should be displaying as 640x480 - but the gamecube might try feeding you 720x480.
that'll make things look stretched.
i've never tried this personally(with game systems i mean), but this is my experience with TV to computer monitor, and vice versa.
