Need a cell....

So right now my mom is paying for this pre-paid plain for my cell phone. It's all though Cingular. I have an ancient Nokia 6010 something or other. So for my Birthday my mom said she will get me a new phone up to $100 but I can't change my plain. So does anyone know where I can get a nice cell phone for cheap that will work with Cingular. If I buy one though cingular it would be an older phone that the store is trying to get rid of because thats how all the go phones are.

Does your cell phone have a sim card in it? If not, I'm not sure if you can transfer the service between a new phone without going through cingular.

Aruba, Thats the phone they have for sale at the cingular place. I just wanted to know if I could get more for my money.

I have that phone and it sucks. The speaker that it plays the ringtones through is horrible, and the camera just randomly stopped working.

A plethlera of cingular phones. just read all descriptions very carfully, some dealers can sell you a POS used phone, but you think it's new.

Well right now I think I have a different plain. My friend had broken his Razr and sent it back, in the meantime he got a different phone. So he's gotten a new Razr back, I think I'm going to buy that from him.

Anybody have bad experiences with the Razr?

Got the Razr. $40 well spent.

I also downloaded the Moto Phone Tools program. Works good. The phone connects with the same cable as the Mamba Max.

Yea, yea. I know theres many people out there with one. But it's still a good deal. Nice phone, fits in my pocket without limiting what else can go in there. And I can put songs on it from my computer since I don't have an ipod or any mp3 player (yea I know thats crazy).

So time for another new telemaphono. The beginning of this year I got a new plan and a Samsung Propel. Then after a little wear it showed some not so great stuff so I decided to take it back since I would have to stick to it for 2 more years. But I traded it for a Vu which seems to be nicer.

Just have to get a data cable and switch up a few things on it.
