Click here to view the full version : New video card
After talking about getting a video card forever now I finally got one. I bought it last night on ebay. It's a ATI AIW 9600pro. Supports dual monitors and if I ever somehow inherit a big lcd tv to put on my wall I can hook that up too. I'm not really planning on watching any tv with it but for a 9600pro it was a good deal ethier way. But it also is pal format for the tv so unless I move to europe I can't use it anyway. But It was $42 and from a seller with 99% postive feedback thats been on there for 7 years. So I'm guessing it will work fine. I'm also guessing it was a low price because it didn't say "agp video card" but only agp, then video card in the description. I was the only one to bid. He had some other like it that said video card and were selling for a lot more.
But enought of that, I'm looking forward to it.

Aww I wish I would have seen this, I just sold an x800 all in wonder for $50 :(
Too late now. But the card works great. I love the dual monitors. I just don't like that Ubuntu doesn't support dual monitors. When Fedora 7 comes out I'll switch over. Theres a bunch of Linux guys that meet at my church, they help me set the card up. They know SOOO much. And the head guy is giving me some space on his server, so thats good.

ive got a 9600 all in wonder and i love it. i got it for 120 CND with a 2 year warrentee and my only problem with it is the record feature isnt working correctly (tried every format and it wont record propperly, and whats stupid is theres no troubleshooter for that) but other then that i have it all setup with my old playstation, cable, dual monitors (19" samsung lcd widescreen and a 19" dell tuber) its been great since i installed it.
its got a bit better graphics then my old card (stupid stock dell one) and its got some fancy features for the price.
I oc'd mine to 525 mhz core and 385 mhz memory. A nice boost from the stock 400/325. It's completely stable. Mine didn't come with the purple box, so I'm needing to buy that sometime so I can hook up the gc.
