I'm south of you in Stuart, just bought a rusty down in west palm beach and now am trying to learn my stuff here...

what RC stuff do we have around our area? google failed me which is why i went to west palm to buy something

Well uip aroung St Lucie west BLvd, there MDI Racing, I know the owner there very good, and he can get just about anything you might want. Its a small shop though, and that sometimes gets me mad. lol

how about good races to run my new truck around here? I plan on making a little makeshift track in my back yard, but it'd be nice to go to a place that's got real bashing/racing potential.

There are some places in Okechoobee, but I don't go out there. I also heard arould Palm city, that there is a track there too.

So I had been hearing, and I checked to prove it, there Moroso Motorsports park is building an RC track. Here's the excerpt on their site:
"With the support and knowledge of the guys from Action R/C we are building a purpose built remote control track for off road trucks and buggies. The course features multiple terrain changes, 14 corners, and several jumps including a large double.

In addition the course will have a raised and shaded control stand and a raised pit lane as well as several bleachers. The track will provide a home to RC racers from all over South Florida."

I have two things to say: Giggity giggity.

So, are there any other south florida/treasure coasters besides me and XL-5 here? I really need someone who can bring me in the know of the in's and out's of these cars. ;)

I know of a guy but he drifts like me. Did you pass by MDI? Hector there can really help you out. The track sound cool too.

Aye, I had, but the guys I talked to there said they were in the midst of transferring ownership. That is, I think this was where you're talking about.
