What are some things you've learned at LAN parties? For me, it's that my caffeine high goes like this:

Meh... I just flatline no matter what happens, no matter what I take, at around "very alert" to "Tired." Caffeine doesn't really affect me.
I learned that my friends with PC's do not know how to protect their comps :)
I dropped a bunch or pron on one friends, then told the other friends he was a pron fiend.
LOL funneh
The monster stuff always makes me go crazy, but it puts a big strain on your heart. I got this other stuff you mix in water and its an "energy drink." I'm going to try it next track meet. It has 41,000% of your daily value of vitamin B12, no joke.

Coming from a guy who knows about sports nutrition (we have to for mt. biking), don't drink "Energy" drinks before excersizing. Drink a sports drink AFTER your activity, that's when you need to replace your electrolytes. I only drink energy drinks once or twice a year (at lan's) and when i do have it, i have a lot :p but it's just to stay awake.
The similarities between this and regular energy stuff. Is this is a powder that goes into water. It isn't carbonated and doesn't contain caffeine.

No, you drink gatorade during the activity and then chocolate milk after the activity. It's true.
In track you drink nothing during the event and drink water afterwards. Then after your warm down you can go grab a Gatorade.

Yea, I understand you can't drink anything during, lol. In MTB we go for a lot longer distances and spend more time doing it, so we have time and we have to drink while we're riding.
