A little upgrade!

To give a little history on this situation will give you an idea why I'm kind of excited :D.

Well it started about three years ago when I built my computer. I got the good stuff where needed like memory, processor, video card, etc.. When I built this machine it was considered well above the normal. The only thing I didn't get alot of was memory though but what I did get was plenty enough at that time, a total of 768 megs of RAM. This evening I received a small padded envelope in the mail from a "special" place ;). The contents of this padded envelope were my two 1 gig sticks of RAM! I immediately installed them and WOW :eek:, new life has been breathed into my good ol' "black monster" :D!



Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked right now.......

My friend has a Core2Duo e6400 @ 3.2 ghz. Jumped from 2 gigs to 4 gigs o' DDR2 PC800 and WOW. Memory is a HUGE part, especially in overclocking.

Well, I'm not really into overclocking. I was getting very irritated with Photoshop and Image Ready eating all my memory up when in use.

It's just that college up in Florida that has some sports teams I don't like. But the college is fantastic for academics.

I'm hoping next football season King Bobby can get his act together and start winning a few more. I think the basketball team beat Clemson today though. We were watching it in school and I had to go right after the Seminoles got the ball and then got a shooting foul with 1.5 seconds to go.
