alright, my home computer is down and i don't know why. it starts up, but when it gets to the W2K screen...it restarts. does any one know a good idea why? BTW we are getting a new computer in a couple weeks, but i have some pics that i need for some will be buyers on there and would like to retreive them

Try booting with the Win2K disk. If that doesn't work, clear your CMOS on your motherboard. A friend of mine just had the exact same problem.

that happened with my grandpas comp. he couldnt start up without the W2K disc, and the downside was he couldnt keep it running without the disc in the drive.
