I just got me a new PSP today, and am wondering what games are really good and which ones suck. I know some of you guys played them all, I just want to avoid the "process of elimination" method of game selection. I plan to pick up a couple new games tomorrow. just looking for some opinions. Thanks in advance.

I dig driving games, war games, pretty much anything but sports games. Driving games are my fav though. I cant wait till march when the Gran Turismo game comes out for it......

Socom Fireteam Bravo 1&2, Burnout, and Daxter are a few pretty good ones. I don't have Socom Fireteam Bravo 2 yet but I love playing Socom Fireteam Bravo 1 online!

Vice City Stories (newest GTA game)
Ridge Racer (or wait for 2 whenever it comes out)
Lumines II (or 1 for cheap)
Me and My Katamari
Fireteam Bravo 2
Daxter
Burnout Legends
Exit
Powerstone Collection (both Powerstone games from the Dreamcast)
Wipeout Pure
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (remake of Mega Man X from the SNES)
Mega Man: Powered Up (remake of Mega Man from NES)
Tony Hawk's Project 8
Vice City Stories (newest GTA game)
Ridge Racer (or wait for 2 whenever it comes out) FAIL
Lumines II (or 1 for cheap)
Me and My Katamari FAIL (sad, because the ps2 version was win)
Fireteam Bravo 2 FAIL
Daxter no idea, but i've heard mixed things. g4 loved it, but online reviews hate it. i'd trust the online reviews
Burnout Legends FAIL
Exit FAIL
Powerstone Collection (both Powerstone games from the Dreamcast) FAIL cause no multiplayer, which is what made the dreamcast version good.
Wipeout Pure
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (remake of Mega Man X from the SNES) FAIL
Mega Man: Powered Up (remake of Mega Man from NES) FAIL (these 2 are because you can emulate them anyways, and megaman has been the same 1 trick pony for years. way to inovate  )
Tony Hawk's Project 8no idea
im in ur post, critasizin' gamez

From Metacritic:
Ridge Racer 1/2: 88/71
Me and My Katamari: 75
Fireteam Bravo 2: 83
Daxter: 86
Burnout Legends: 86
Exit: 77
Powerstone Collection: 74
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X: 79
Mega Man: Powered Up: 82
Tony Hawk's Project 8: 64
Pretty decent games. (Except for Project 8, buy THUG2 Remix for less and get your fix there.) A lot of them are on there because they are cheap and have plenty of fun to offer. Not worth the full $50, but for around $20-$30, heck yes. And the two Mega Man games aren't straight ports, there's a ton of added content in there as well. Besides, I'm just trying to give the guy some choice. I don't have all these games, I've just read that they're worth playing out of all the other "games" on PSP.
Hey if all else fails install an emulator or two. (Firmware permitting of course.)

Burnout Legends, GTA:LCS, NFS: Most Wanted are the 3 I've enjoyed the most.
