new psp, internet question

hi, my brother just bought a psp, almost new, it has the film on the screen still, NO scratches at all!!!!! it came with 2 games and 2 movies, stock 32mb cars, soft case, aluminum case, 2 psp head phones, origonal box, and NIB extra battery!!! ALL FOR ONLY $145!! the guy ripped him self of hahah.

my question was about the internet on it? it says it has LAN where can i get a connection? could i go by a friends house across the road? he has Verizon high speed?? i can do it in starbucks rite? i need to learn more about WIFI and Local Area Net connections any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to be in range of a WiFi hotspot to be able to get on the net with a PSP. A wireless router/public hotspot/pay for service hotspot are some of a few types of things you need to be in range of for internet. The PSP is only B compatible but will work on a router that supplies mixed A/B/G channels. Google "wireless internet connection" and that should point you in the right direction for more details.

On the opposite side of the on switch is a WLAN on off switch, turn that on, go on INTERNET BROWSER, find the connection, if it needs a WEP key, Find out how to find the WEP key, my mom showed me it. IF you need help PM ME, I got a free PSP that is nice, just scratched up screen! No ITS NOT stolen!
