I can't remember the name of this game

Ok, this game was for the PS1. It was a flying game. You had a plane. Parachutes would drop from space containing upgrades for your plane. Like one upgrade would be boosters and you could fly so fast. There also were different shapes of color you could fly through and certain combinations of shapes would also give you an upgrade. You could shoot lasers at buildings and other things to bring them down. Does anyone remember this game? I can't remember the name of it.

Don't know the name, but it sounds like one I had for Sega Saturn back in the day...

I think I know what you're talking about. Is it kind of like the popular arcade game that they have, where you're a space ship thing, it's like you're looking from above everything, and you have control over going left/ right, forward/ back, and you shoot. If you kill certain things you can get bonuses and it'll upgrade your gun or you can get missles and stuff.

Picture below gives the basic idea of what I'm thinking. Where you're the center ship moving forward, and there's other things coming at you and you have to shoot them down, or else you'll get hit and die. That's not exactly what it'd look like or anything, but I'm sure you'll get the basic idea.
