What is 1m super pi you say? It's a test that calculates how fast your computer can crunch pie to 1 million digits. It's available for download here: (very very small file): http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=36 (download link is under the "Download Locations" section)

My scores:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ overclocked to 2.9ghz with 2gb ram: 32 seconds
(My crappy old computer): Celeron D @ 2.9 ghz: 1 minute 12 seconds :rollin:
(lower scores are better btw)

MacBook Pro w/ 2 ghz Intel Core Duo and 1 gb ram: 39 seconds to one million. Not bad for a laptop that was never meant to run Windows, methinks. :)

Dude, you have a core duo...that's why. the Conoroe processors are freakin beasts (at least in a windows-based Computer) The $120 Core Duo 2 Conoroe E6300 (only a 2mb cache, shell out $50 more for the 2.1 ghz E6400 with a gnarly 4mb cache) is a hair faster than a $1,200 processer (AMD FX-60)

I sold it a long time ago. That's just the score it got when I had it.

Ouch, 1 minute, 38 seconds on a mid or late 90's gateway w/ 512 ram and some archaic proccy...

2m 3s on a 1.5 ghz pentium 4. Severely outdated.

Who calculates pi anyway?
