HTML / Javascript / CSS
Im trying to learn some python , but nothing much .
python is super easy youll pick it up just liek that. perl is amazingly difficult for me. its hard when the scripts start to get long on the practice ones.
also what OS(operating system) do you guys run. i run my laptop on a grub dual boot with xp and ubuntu

I've got a dual-boot MacBook Pro with OS X and XP Pro installed. Haven't bothered installing any Linux builds yet. I'm the most comfortable in OS X, and only use other OSes for quirky programs that will never be ported to X. BTW: been a Mac user for life, not a switcher. My dad sold his Porsche 911 and bought an LC when it first came out, best decision he ever made.
Java, Javascript, VB, perl, HTML (CSS,DHTML, ect..), starting on PHP and PHPscript

well if you have a intel mac or something like that you can do a triple boot and get a distro of linux like ubuntu or gentoo. you can actually pick up as many ubuntu disks as you want for free off ubuntus site.

Yeah I've got an Intel inside! I know I can triple-boot, just haven't bothered to take the time to do it yet... Plus two OSes on one eighty gigabyte drive is already cramped — not sure how I would manage with three.

Nope, I just think it's hilarious that ten years ago all Apple could talk about was how crappy the Intel chips were, and now we're all "Intel insidE!!1!!"...

I'm learning C# now.
I use a lot of C and C++. ( Use the following compilers gcc, virtual C, virtual C++ and Keil and SDCC for 8051 chips.)
Also used Java, Delphi and did a bit of BASIC.
Also did a lot of assembler work two years ago (used MASM).
Python actually isn't a programming langauge it's a mathimatical and algorithm similation language like Matlab.
It's easy to learn a new language, you must just read a book on the basics of compilers and syntax and you can learn a language in two days.

I would really like a book that can teach me C# in 2 day. I have the "microsoft visual C# step-by-step" and it is a really hard book to learn from because it makes references to things that you would only know if you had done object-based programming before.
