Anybody running it yet? I just installed the 64-bit version onto my computer (new Maxtor 200gb SATA150 $70!) with the following specs:
-AMD Athlon 64 1000+
-Kingston DDR (forgot the speed) 1gb
-ATI Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder (unfortunately it's only supported as a Radeon 9600)
-Creative Audigy 2 ZS
-Logitech MX500 mouse (no support from Logitech!)

The first downloaded file didn't work right, but that's happened to many people. I got lucky I only had to download it twice for it to work. It's a whopping 4gb each time!

So far, it's working well. The interface is nice, and the fact that Microsoft included software to set up dual monitors (extended) is really nice.

For those that don't know, it's free. You can download it here:

If you don't have broadband (cable/DSL or faster) then don't download it, get the DVD.

Hey Im about to install it tonight, I ordered the DVD so I would have it in case of system crashes or what not. I gotta get a copy of partition magic first though, I really don't feel like backing up and formating 160gb drive lol keep me informed on your installation

My Creative sound card driver (from their website) doesn't seem to be working. I'll try re-installing it and see if that works. Let us know how your install goes!

Hey Im up and running on x64 as x32 didnt support my hd audio. I heard there were correct drivers out there so double check the build number it was made for on those drivers.

Mello, it will depend on how you install it, I recommend installing on a new hd or partition rather than overwriting your old stuff

I'm not using Vista any more since 64-bit doesn't seem to support my Creative Audigy 2 ZS. There's a driver, but it doesn't work. My dad has the same sound card on 32-bit, and the driver works there.
