Meh, never been interested in those Medievil/1st person styled games, but those are some good graphics.

I believe it's going to be mostly an engine for other games. DirectX 10 will be the dawning of a new era.

You should check out the new Farcry. Every leaf moves, and bullets will knock down limbs.

Consoles will never be able to keep up with pc's, they release a new one every 4 or 5 years. Pc's were beating 360's before they even came out, and you can play fps like it should be played, on a keyboard and mouse.
