Photoshop CS2

I just recieved Photoshop CS2, and was starting to learn how to use it. I have used Elements 3.0 and the old Photoshop 5.0 for a while, but I was wondering what someo ofb the more powerful features are, so I can experiment with them and become a better photoshop-er. Any input is appreciated. Anything from photoshopping embarrasing pictures of idiots embarrasing out country or making a comedic email, I want to learn it all, so please help.

god, photoshop...my friend is good at it, and i can use the little effect things, but if you really wanna make pretty cool images easily you might wanna start out with macromedia fireworks. It's pretty cool and you can make little cartoon gifs. It's simpler and more straight forward than photoshop, just less features but cool pictures/animated gifs are easier in fireworks.

I dont know about CS2 but ive been using 7 for some time. If you want just google photoshop tutorials and you will be overwhelmed with knowledge.
