sound card and audio and stuff

I have a dell pc and it came with the soundmax integrated audio. I wanted to get logitech 5.1 x-530 speakers. My question is will the speakers work with my pc? If not, will I need to get a new sound card? Which one? Thanks. Peace.

no matter what they will work, just maybe not in full surround, like all the speakers will emit sounds, but in stereo surround, you know what i mean? If you want really surround, then you can pick up a cheap soundblaster card or something.. I got mine for around $20 and its great...

well I ended up buying a turtle beach riviera 25$ 5.1 card. Then I picked up some logitech x-530 speakers. Will I notice a difference compared to my dell integrated audio and dell a215 speakers?

Probably, My dell has integrated audio and 2.1 speakers, and my 5.1 speakers with my soundblaster have MUCH better audio quality.
