hey i was wondering if anyone here has a PSP? if you do can you tell me a little about it? wht abt the internet? i herd tht it was free but hard to get connected? i will prbly use the internet the most on this so if you guys can give me some info on it tht would help alott i will use it for mostly movies and internet thanks for the replies!

My little brother got one for Christmas and that is one awesome gadget. I got a Toshiba Gigabeat and I like the gigabeat more. He has Burnout: Legend. That is a really sweet game if you like to crash and blow up stuff like me (Well, not my R/Cs). I'm assuming wht abt the internet is what about the internet. I don't know. To poor to get wireless. :)

I've had one for awhile, but I don't have wireless internet at my house.

I've used it at other places that have wireless and its easy to use. All you have to do is set up a connection point, which it automatically scans for, and flip the wi-fi switch on the side to allow it to connect. There is a menu to input the website and you can create bookmarks, homepages, etc.

The only downside is the small screen and text entry. You usually have to scroll sideways on some sites and the text entry is like a cell phones with multiple letters on each button. Text entry is done on a small "keyboard" that shows up on the screen and the directional buttons are used to select letters.

Other than that it is pretty simple to use and loading times aren't that slow.

I think there might be a special device to chat wirelessley. I am pretty sure you can link without wires on games though.

The internet is free as long as you can find an access point. As for online chatting using the PSP, I don't think that feature is available yet.

You can use some web chatting things like irc and aim. I've done them both and its just as fast as chatting on your computer...except for the typing part.
