My brother just got a PSP for Christmas and he is a football guy and got the madden game. Now he really wants Twisted Metal. He is 9 going on 10 and my parents don't want to get him the game since it's teen. Here is the question for any who know, or have experience:

What does the "drug refrence" mean? Just a cigarette ad or something worse?
(pm me if answer is likely to get you banned.)
I am assuming "violence" is for shooting other cars.

And another question. He tried to download some music on it (my dad did it for him) and it said "memory full" after five songs. So he turns it on and it shows no songs, but the computer recognizes it as full memory. What's going on? Thanks for replies!

Nobody knows this one? My brother is really down that he didn't get it. I would really like to know also.

I've never played it, but I'm guessing that if the ESRB put "drug reference" on the rating, then it's for something like marijuana, or possibly worse. They wouldn't put it on there for ciggaretes, I'm pretty sure, so it's marijuana or worse.

If you're downloading music onto the PSP's memory card and it doesn't show up on the PSP then you haven't got the right format file.

What's the right file? I can get songs easily onto my gigabeat on the same computer.

You need a file conversion program. The PSP only reads mp4 files.
You can purchase the Sony Media Manager for $20 on their website, or there are free alternatives that may be more complicated to use.

This is one of the free conversion prgrams: http://www.pspvideo9.com/

the above post^^^, thats for videos, but for songs, mp3 works, atrac 3 and atrac3plus works, and wma works with the new update. So try using those formats.

Thanks, we got two photos on the psp, but we'll have to try music. My brother traded it in and got a new one due to some glitch thingy.

I've downloaded a few standard jpeg. photos onto my PSP, but I can't view them. The photos take up memory space, but are not viewable.

Any suggestions as to why this is?

I don't know, but we got my brother's working. We had to create a new folder and transfer the photos to them, then transfer to the psp.
