hi,

my name is manny co and i am the advisor to Edgewood Middle School RC Club. i would like to take this opportunity to invite any and all Rc'ers to our on campus track. that's right, the district let my students and parents build a ROAR recognized track right on the school's grounds. the track is about 100 X 55ft. it is located on the soccer field right across from the tennis courts. please enjoy yourself, just help keep the track looking nice.

background: we have been featured in a couple of magazines, both AE and Team Losi were there to help us out. we got pros out there to race against our students. i am very proud to have this great opportunity for my students. we just had our 2nd annual christmas race. we will have two more before the school year is done. and once again, you guys are more than welcome to attend.

so how does it work? can you just show up anytime after school hours and run or only on weekends or what? how much does it cost?

I think this could be an option for another bash! David and Daniel, the drive for you would be under an hour, and for me it would only be about 50mins.

Mapquest puts it at about an hour, not too bad for both of us driving an hour from each end.......about as close as "meeting in the middle" kinda thing as we could get.

What kind of track is it? I mean, like technical with a lot of twists, or more of a basic layout that almost anyone could enjoy? If possible, some pics would be great, and maybe a list of what classes usually run on it. Would monsters and 1/8 buggies be too big? I know Travis and I would have to bring out that last one if we stopped by......:D

sweet, i got my GT running, so all it needs is a good day to stretch its legs out. itso nly a 3hr drive for me, so im good.

Hoov, how's it a 3 hour drive for you? i'd think it's only like 2 at the most, but maybe MetalMan and I have more direct routes.

if i go speed limit its a 3hr drive, if i speed i could make it there in maybe 1.54hr's if the cops/traffic dont bother me.

What kind of racing or at least practice schedule do you have? That is, would the track still be availible for weekend running now?
