Indeed, I do have CS 1.6. I play it as often as I can (which isn't often enough).

I play on the Killmachine server the most (63.209.36.120:27015 if you wanna play sometime), but I'll play on nearly any server that doesn't have abusive mods.

Just got my copy of source today, and got my new pc online. My ram hasn't came in yet, so I have 256mb right now lol. Still downloading the updates, so I'll see in a bit how cs-source runs on 256mb of ram :(

Well, I'd suggest adding people to Steam friends list, but it appears to be non functional at the moment. I was gonna say, if you add me to your friends list you could see when I was on, and join me.

source runs terrible with 256mb ram! So glitchy even on the lowest settings. Got 1gig of corsair dual channel in now. Highest settings on everything is still more than playable.

I play 1.6 on my computer. I use to have a nice computer but my stupid mom took it when she moved out. It was her's anyways but I liked to pretend it was mine lol.

If anyone wants to ever play some 1.6 lmk .

Ok, so, heres my idea/solution for the friends list. Everyone download XFire (kinda like AIM, but better, and for gamers [supports in game chat on many games, including CS]), and make a name on it. That way, we can see whenever another URC CS player is on. Then, we use the nifty join button on XFire, and we're in! XFire really is a great program. Allows in game chat, even with those outside the game, tells you what your friends are playing, and in what server, then has a little button so you can join them.

Im going to have my server back online after vacation. Its a P4 2.8 ghz HyperThreading with 1gb of Dual Channel PC3200 DDR Ram.... so that means I can host about 16 people laglessly.

Sort of. The sytem can handle it, but what about your connection? Thats the deciding factor for lag.

Sign up for XFire and shoot me your name. I know a few servers that you wouldn't get beat up on too bad. I'm hoping when me and my friend get our server going, that we'll be able to handle URC traffic as well as our planned school/clan traffic. That way, we can have a place almost entirely for URC, and you'll almost always have an admin available.
