I run a dual moniter. My 17inch laptop and my 15 inch desktop moniter.

Note that in the Windows display settings, you can drag the monitor representations (gray boxes that say 1 or 2) around to vertically offset them from eachother (useful for correcting for monitors at different heights, and making it so that your mouse and other interface elements feel like they're just moving around on a single, larger screen).

Also note that you can drag your task bar & start menu to different screens!

I run dual monitors, and have for the past 2 years or so. The one on the left (main one) is a 21" CRT. The right one is a 17" CRT. I like using the 17" for having Outlook Express open, and the 21" for surfing the forums or doing other things like video/photo editing. Pic is attached of my setup.

P.S., the square in the lower right-hand corner of the left monitor is a TV ;).

Most monitors I've ever used for one computer has been four 20 1/2" flat panel LCD's. Personaly, for most multi monitor stuff, I prefer either two, or three.

Hey I have an nvidia fx5500 and it has a vga port on the back, which my monitor is currently plugged into,,,is there any way I can use a vga adaptor(if they even make them) to split the picture to two monitors, to be able to drage the mouse from one screen to the other?
