Hey everyone, im new!! hehe..

I live in Tamworth NSW...What a hole..lol...

About a week ago i bought a Brand New Smartech 1/10th scale mercedes benz off Ebay... I havnt got it yet but shoulod be hear in time for my xmas pressy...YAY... Well i've been to a fare few forums and everyone seems to be saying that smartechs are a piece of [crap]... Do you all think that smartechs are [crap], if so, why???

it's great to see another aussie on here..... The thing about Smartech is that they make tacky copy's of other companys products.

when you mean "tacky" do you mean the body shell of the car or the engine, exhaust etc??


I'm starting to think i made the biggest mistake ever buying a smartech car...

like poor quality plastic and such, but dude dont get discouraged though, make a projec out of it!

Yeah, Smartech do make cheaper immitations of other R/C's, but you could take that to your advantage. Some parts from the original R/C may fit the Smartech, because i'm sure parts won't be easy to come by.

Just make sure your one of the members to stay.

They have copied Traxxas and FG with a few of their R/C's. Which particular Smartech did you get?
