Will this computer be nice?

Last week I ordered a new Laptop, I hate my pc(which is from 1998:)) So my dad told me he'll buy me whatever comp I want, as long as it is the last one he buys me, ever.
It has a 17inch screen
2 gb ram
3.0 ghz processor
80 hd

Well to say the least..Thats reallllly good!

Now is this a AMD Mother board , or a Pentium 4?

Im thinking its a P4 system, as usually, AMD systems arnt labled as "3 ghz" as they are generally called like "4000+"

My current HDD is 40gb LOL.
I think I should have gone bigger on the hd, but if need be I will buy a external harddrive
