Some of you NES owners may know what I'm talking about. You know the tabs inside the NES where the game cartridge slides in and makes the connection between the game and the system? I've heard alot about these being big problems and my NES showed signs of this so I looked inside and surely enough, 2 of them are pretty bent up and need to be replaced. If anybody could provide a link to them or can tell what it's called that'd be a GREAT help. Thanks.

Sadly, I've heard lots of trash about the NEX. Supposedly it has problems playing some games, has the colors and sounds off from the original games, and has a sucky controller. (Although it can be switched with a regular controller) I would prefer buying some tabs for a couple bucks than a $60 system...

I just got a NES from my cousin, we sold ours 4 years ago, and i missed it a ton. I have the original zelda with orig box and manual . its awesome. Got mario/duck hunt and mario 3 and such. Captain skyhawk lol. But i havent had any problems yet other than my zelda record getting deleted for no reason. I was pissed to say the least.

I found it!! I can buy the entire connector thingy for $10. If anybody's interested it's http://vimm.net/ This site has the same link for all the pages so I can't link directly to the part.

I believe that things are saved on a battery inside the cartridge.

Yeah, zelda was one of the first games to save on batteries rather than a 3 page password
