Watch out for that trojan when modding, it will turn your PSP into a very expensive paperweight, and there's no fixing it, at all.

Same here. Scan, find soem results, find best signal strength, no security, etc. etc. Punch in the numbers and bang I got the net on the PSP. Anyone did like I did and put music videos or downloaded r/c videos onto the psp and watch them? I had found this program a while back where you use it to convert wma, wmv and other media formats to mp4 and also to the psp screen resolution, then you drop it into your duo stick?

Where did you get that program?

From this forum...

It also guides you through everything you need to do. The program is in japanese, so once you download, look for setup and change to English.

Not really. Unless yu have dead pixels, you should get them removed. Mine came iwth 6 in a circle. And I had them taken out a week ago.

God, I love my girlfriend! I have yet to figure out how to access the net. I upgraded to Version 2.0 to allow ''www'' Internet Browser to be added to the main menu, but I have no idea in the world how to setup an internet connection. Do I need to buy a separate wireless adaptor? How do get an internet access point?
Could any of you please help my thickness? Step-by-step would be great!
Thanks

Actually you can fix it. I got the Trojan on one of my psp's when I was downloading homebrew Emu. onto it. I sent it into sony and got it back 2 weeks later fixed and back to Filmware 1.5. I use the internet browser found in then game Wipeout Pure since I keep the filmware only at 1.5 So I'm not sure how you would go abut doing it with the newer filmware.

all you have to do is have some sort of wireless connection for internet in your house or around you and then go all the way to the left on the psp menu and find network connections then type in the connection settings and connect also on the left side bottom corner of the psp theres a small switch make sure thats up that turns on the wireless card inside

You can get that free wireless connection on anything with wireless internet like your laptop. Park next to a person's house who has the wireless while your on the go and you have instant internet access on anything with wireless adapters/devices.

I don't really promote the act of "piggybacking" off of someone's wireless router but you can do it with a PSP upgraded to the 2.00 upgrade or higher(although going higher than 2.00 will not let you run homebrew on it). To see some really cool stuff the PSP can do try going here: PSP Updates (http://www.pspupdates.qj.net).
I really advise getting files and stuff for your PSP from this site because some bad stuff is starting to show up at other sites for the PSP that will "brick" it! I love sitting on my front porch with mine and surfing the net on something not much bigger than a PDA, with a browser that's comparable to IE or Firefox. Just watch out for viruses, they can and will ruin your $250 handheld system.
