burnt cd, wanting to rip to computer.

well i got a friend to burn a cd of all his music files as mine have been lost. and am wanting to rip with windows media player 10 but it wont load up as its not formated (cant be played on cd player)

im wondering how i can get the files off the disc and onto my HD.

Can you drag the files from the cd folder onto the desktop? That alwasy seems to work for me, though I've never had a problem like you are talking about.
