Well, as some of you may know, I've been debating on whether to get a new computer or not. Anyways, tonight I ordered a new computer. Since I didn't feel comfortable building one by myself, I had just decided to order one from a company. So, after months of looking for the right computer, I had found one that seemed to be perfect for me. I bought a Compaq Presario, and here are the stats, with a side by side comparison to my current one. Lol, it should be amusing.
New Computer:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ (2.4ghz)
Memory: 512MB DDR
Hard Drive: 160 GB 7200 SATA
Speakers: Altec-Lansing 5:1
Monitor: (Buying from OfficeMax) Starlogic 19" CRT
Old Computer
Processor: Intel Celeron 633mhz
Memory: 64MB
Hard Drive: 15 GB
Spakers: Polk Audio 2:0
Monitor: HP 15" CRT
Wow, quite an improvement. Including monitor, it is about 800 Dollars, and I plan on replacing the PSU and adding a 6600 GT on the AGP slot on the mobo, but there it is. I know that building one might have been a better choice, but I didn't feel up to it, so don't give me crap :P .
