Need some Computer help..

So I got this game for my computer called Rise Of Nations: Gold. Now I've installed everything, but when I click on it it says the game cannot run on monitor mode set to 256colors, please change to 16-bit or higher. The problem is that it already is on 32-bit and it still doesn't work. I have Windows 2000, if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Try setting to 16-bit then reboot then try.

or you could try reinstalling the driver for the graphics card.

What video card are you running? I would down load the latest driver for your card, Win. 2000 is not the best os to play games on. As with any driver, always remove the old driver through the device manager or add remove programs. This avoids a driver conflict and keeps the comp. happy which in turn, well you know the rest.
