well its really pissing me off! this stupid page keeps overriding my homepage (msn.ca) and when i click certain links (anything with free, car, buy, men, girl, etc) it take me to its main page and searches for anything with that word in it. also on any webpages i look at it changes all short words like the ones above into links so all though anything im reading theres links.
ps also keeps having a pop-up that says that i have a virus and asks if im tired of popups and says how if i click here i can get rid of them. (which is very ironic how this is a popup)
has anyone else had this problem? or know how i can get rid of it?

It is either some sort of weak virus that attacks the search tool or spyware.
If you have Norton Antivirus scan the whole computer for any viruses and if you have Ad-Aware or something smiliar that detects spyware and kills them do a full system scan
this is a particularly nasty one, there are about 30-40 versions of this thing. its a complete pain in the !@# to get rid of.
dump all system restore points, run spybot, adware, norton system works (reg scan mainly) and this new beta from MS
http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/1/5/815d2d60-49b5-44dc-ae35-fca2f2c6f0cc/MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall.exe
and you might and I do mean MIGHT get rid of it. I know about 20 people that have had it and of those only about 5 at most got rid of it only due to the fact they got it before it got to deep in the registery file.
out side of that...

1. Set your homepage to 'use blank'
2. Restart IE, restart computer.
3. ...
4. Profit!
EDIT: Then, after the restart, set the homepage to msn.ca
