mpeg/wmv to divx/svcd/vcd/dvd

anyone know a free program that doesn't leave a mark to convert mpeg/wmv files to divx/svcd/vcd/dvd files?
I'm looking for this cause I wan't to put my rc vid's on a cd(i have for +-700mb rc vids)and want to play them on my dvd player :alien:

Almost all home dvd players play vcd's, a vcd has the .mpg or .mpeg extension, this is the extension the dvd player looks for when you put the disk in the player. Did you try burning your mpeg's you have onto disk and try playing them?
