My gameroom as it is now!

About a year ago probably I started a thread about an arcade machine I built based on MAME. This is one of my other hobbies. Well I've added some original arcade machines to my collection and built an addition onto my house for them. Here's a picture:

I'd really like to add a gun style arcade game to my collection next. I was thinking something from the Time Crisis series as my wife really likes that one.

i think the time crisis games are better than silent scope, but thats just me.

man, you have the coolest game room i've ever seen! do you still have to jam quarters into them to play them?

Man, that's awsome, I wish I had a gameroom like that. How much does one of those cost? Or do they vary a lot depending on which one you get?

kap06: Hehe, actually Tekken 2 is set to free play, Pole Position II you actually have to put a quarter in, Time Soldiers and my MAME arcade you just press a button to coin it up altho a quarter will work in Time Soldiers as well. Actually, I cheat and open the coin door and press a button on the coin mech. to start up Pole Position II. I'd like to convert them all to take tokens in the future...I think it'd be fun to hand my guests a handfull of tokens to play them! :)

Arubaboy24: The games vary a LOT in cost. I bout Pole Position II off of a guy for $100 but it didn't work. The monitor was bad, so it cost me like another $150 to get it working. I got the other 2 at an auction over in New Jersey, Time Soldiers I got working for a mere $30! My MAME machine cost me about $800 to build but plays a TON of games. I have a friend that has an arcade room as well...he paid $5000 for an environmental Discs of Tron. So as you can see they vary!
