OK MSN has been screwed all WEEK it signs me off every 2 minuates then I need to restart my computer cause its so badly screwed, so i restart it, doesnt even open a Internet page and if it does it takes 25 minuates then it just goes to EXPLORER NOT FOUND

Then i wait 15 min turn it on, works good, as soon as i sign onto msn it repeats the whole friggen process, I have windows 98' cause I don't have the use for 2000, or any of the XP series, but Im getting my Ipod tomorrow and Im going to either need one of the XP series, or 2000, So i'll have to ERASE the whole comp and do that.....

Is this happening to you ? :mad: :mad:

You don't need to erase anything...We had an old windows 98 computer and we installed XP on it and we didn't have to erase anything.

i am never using msn it gave me a non removable virus and i had to reformatt my laptop so now i only use aim and have norton

Well right now my pewter is screwed up so if i download somthing it just erases it if i shut it down, so if i downloaded XP it would just get erased when i shut it down, so I'll need to re do the whole comp.

Ya just put the restore disk in and restart your pc. It should ask you to delete everything. Do that.
