I have a trial version of Vector CAD/CAM that came with my lathe and the full version of PTC.
You won't find a decent CAD program for less than $200

I use autocad (what my current work has) I have used solidworks, catia, and unigraphics. I prefer UG, but I get by with autocad (for the 3d part) and surfcam (for the cnc part)
