PSP, anyone?

hey :)
Just wondering if anyone else on these forums has a PSP?
I got mine about a month ago and im totally obsessed by it :lol: , it is the greatest gadget ever!
The actual system is very stylish and sleek with a massive screen that seems to dominate the machine. The quality of the Mp3 and video playback is amazing, the graphics for Ridge Racers are awsome, they arnt as good as PS2 graphics though........i would say there somewhere inbetween PS1 and PS2.
My only grumble is the poor sound quality from the built in stereo speakers, theres no bass and the sound is very tinny.

Anywho, they rock! everyone should get one :D

They arent out in america are they? i didnt think they were, maybe they are in england. Yeah, about the sound, they use MP3 sound and the nintendo DS uses MIDI computer sound, therefore the DS has better sound, but ohter than that the PSP pwns the DS

MIDI sucks, i got mine imported from japan.
The mp3 sound quality is brilliant, far better than any MP3 player ive ever owned. Im just saying the speakers built into the psp itself suck.

Yes, ive heard that the speakers suck. They will be in stores here in like a week or so. I dont plan on getting one right aw ay tho, ill probably get the PS3 before i get the PSP

It comes out tommorow in the US (24th march!) i need to get some import games :)

How long's the battery life? I heard it was pretty crummy, but im not positive on my sources... :)

Yeah its not good thats for sure. I'd say about 3hours 30mins playing games and about 8 hours music/video.
the battery is 3.6v lithium ion and has a 1800mAh capacity.
So as you can see, it sucks the juice!
It actually gets kinda warm if you play games for like an hour+
Its awsome though :)

you could probably change the battery or sony will come out with a long life batterie

I want a PSP so bad. I need money though. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get money fast? I already have 100$ saved up...and it costs 250$.

ebay.....i sold loads of old stuff that i didnt use anymore and got over £100, its almost like getting money for nothing because i didnt even use the stuff that i sold :D
