Sorry, but I don't think any intergrated card will be able to run HL2 at playable speeds

Biostar is considered by many ppl to be THE worst mainboard manufacturer. Whilst Ive never had one, I know of many issues other internet users had with them. Recommend a NAME name brand if u know what I mean. Abit top of list with NF7-s, AN7. Asus with A7N8X. DFI with Lanparty NF2 ultra B. Thats ur short list of mainboards for ur chosen cpu. With the rest of the componentry and a vid card such as an ATI Gecube 9550XT or ATI 9800pro, or Nvidia 6600GT which is a step up, that setup should be solid.

Easy as. Nah, the pc-chips mainboard uses a crappy SIS chipset. They crash alot. Get an Nforce 2 chipset motherboard like the ones I listed.

Yer, HL2 hates the Nvidia gfx card architecture. Even my 6800gt has a winge in it.
